RAMGANIE BOB GOPEE

Ramganie Bob Gopee is the consulting Partner of Bob Gopee and Associates. He had his early high school education at Naparima College, San Fernando with tertiary education at UWI, St. Augustine, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Sociology. In 1969, he qualified as a Certified Accountant in London.

Mr. Gopee was a teacher both at the Primary and Secondary School levels. He has been a Productivity Adviser in the Trinidad and Tobago Management Development Centre in the field of Management Accounting.

For over thirty (30) years he served in several capacities in Rotary, the highest being Assistant Governor. Mr. Gopee is now an honourary Rotarian.

He started the firm Bob Gopee and Associates over forty-one (41) years ago as a sole practitioner in Port of Spain and over time has expanded into a 4-partner firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Port of Spain, Chase Village, Chaguanas and Vistabella.

He is an occasional presenter and adviser on family accounting matters.

He has served as a member of Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT) for nine (9) years and has been Chairman of the Membership Committee of ICATT for many years.

He is a director of the Hindi Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago, (Hindi Nidhi), director of three (3) small hotels and the President of the Bob Gopee Foundation.
