R. Bob Gopee, after qualifying in 1969 as a Certified Accountant and working for a period of 2 years with one of the big 4 Accounting firms and 5 years as a Productivity Advisor, the genesis of Bob Gopee and Associates was established.
The company commenced business in 1975 with the Consulting Partner, R. Bob Gopee as a sole proprietor, under the name R. Bob Gopee and Company at 20 Hamilton Holder Street, Woodbrook, Port of Spain.
Within 2 years of commencement, a San Fernando branch was established. Almost at the same time, a Tobago branch was established. In November 2011, the newest branch Chase Place, Chase Village, in Central Trinidad, opened its doors, in an attempt to properly serve the business community of Central Trinidad.
The firm is now a 5-partner firm with 2 Associates and 25 professional/administrative staff. We are now strategically represented in Trinidad and Tobago with offices in Port of Spain, San Fernando, Central and Tobago. We provide accounting, tax auditing and statutory secretarial services throughout Trinidad and Tobago. Professional work has been done for a large range of manufacturing and service industries, as well as audits on behalf of the Auditor General of Trinidad and Tobago.
For small businesses, book-keeping services, including preparation of VAT returns are also being done on a regular basis.
